Teresa Lasley is a native to the D.C., Maryland, Virginia tri state area and product of Prince George’s County Public Schools. After completing her undergraduate degree at Spelman College with a double major in English and Drama, she followed her passion to connect and to give voice to the lives of the youth by becoming a New York City Teaching Fellow (NYCTF). Her graduate work in Education at Fordham University was her introduction to facilitating learning for students which afforded her the opportunity to nurture growing minds. The opportunity to serve as a Teacher Leader and Instructional Specialist across multiple school districts in the Washington, D.C. area shaped her experience and pushed her perspective on how to engage and challenge youth to reach their full potential.
